When you buy radio online you might find some (mostly vintage radios) that are just AM or just FM so which one is better? (luckely most modern cb radios have both frequencies) so choosing one these days is not such issue but knowing difference always come handy.

FM radio works the equal way that AM radio works. The distinction is in how the service wave is modulated, or altered. With AM radio, the amplitude, or usual strength, of the sign is diverse to comprise the sound information.

So is FM better than AM ?well maybe...

So why would you want to use AM radio ?(if you find some vintage one).
